Well, well, well… looks like Sony is going to finally let the cat out of the proverbial bag. That’s right boys and girls, we finally have a projected date of when the company will reveal the soon to be next big gift for the Christmas season. May seems to be to the month of big things for us over here at DOS. Indeed, a ten year anniversary, our major’s birthday, AND graduation.
Although Sony may tip the scale early and allow the public to see the unveil early in the month, my guess is that every single one of our butts are going to be glued to our seats watching E3 this year. Hopefully this year E3 shows off some more PC games, and with Steam’s new console, the Piston in the works, that might be more likely.
Hey, maybe this new console will be backwards compatible like their competitor’s Wii. Hrm… That would most definitely be nice. I have a TON of PS, PS2, and PS3 games that I have to play on the two newer consoles just because I refuse to spend an additional $40 on a game that I already own. I might be here to buy your new console, but I expect my old ones to work on it. That way, I can spend my money on the NEW games that you release. Simple, simple concept.
